The 2021 MLB season featured season-long tributes to the late former home run king Hank Aaron (and rightfully so). Such as here, when the 2021 Home Run Derby participants all donned Aaron's uniform number #44 throughout the festivities at Coors Field.

Many, including me, felt Atlanta's chances for a postseason spot were shredded along with the knee of superstar OF Ronald Acuna (injured pursuing a fly ball at Miami in July). But the team quickly retooled and wound up NL East Champions.
