In the T1st of Game 1, Braves 1B Freddie Freeman—ravaged by COVID just four months prior—opened the scoring with a solo homer off Dodgers SP Walker Buehler.
The Dodgers bullpen continued to hold the Braves through the middle innings, setting the stage for late-inning heroics. In the B7th, Bellinger crunched a LONG solo homer off Atlanta's Chris Martin, making it 4-3 L.A. RP Julio Urias' three perfect innings sealed the improbable series comeback.
