After their heated brawl in August, could the Astros and Athletics simply get through the 2020 Division Series without punches flying? Houston, the most hated team in baseball, faces an A's team fresh off its first postseason series win in 14 years. (Series held at Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles)
Khris Davis did not have a good 2020 regular season, but here he looked like his old self when he went yard, oppo-style, off Astros SP Lance McCullers Jr. Later in the inning, Sean Murphy homered to dead-center and Oakland led 3-0.
From there, Houston took firm and total control. Brantley added a second HR in the B5th, and a three-run B6th deflated the A's. Altuve (pictured) smoked a two-run homer in the B7th for good measure; the Astros' 11-6 victory eliminated Oakland from the postseason.
